DEAD KENNEDYS X PLEASURES

PLEASURES introduces a new capsule collection in collaboration with the influential American hardcore punk band Dead Kennedys.

Formed in San Francisco in 1978 by guitarist EAST BAY RAY and vocalist JELLO BIAFRA, the band was soon joined by bassist KLAUS FLOURIDE, drummer TED, and guitarist 6025. The latter departed in March 1979, while Ted was replaced at the very end of 1980 by D.H. PELIGRO After their first show at Mabuhay Gardens in July 1978, Dead Kennedys quickly built a following with their chaotic, theatrical live performances. Their sound could be described as a collision of the Sex Pistols and the Ventures.

Drawing from the band’s uncompromising attitude and visual language, the collection reinterprets punk references through a PLEASURES lens. Distressed graphics, bold typography, and archival-inspired artwork are combined with the brand’s signature graphic sensibility, balancing references to punk’s history. The collaboration reflects a shared interest in challenging convention, questioning authority, and pushing against the expected.
